RADIALcvt Prototype
Varibox CVT Technologies will partake and exhibit at the international VDI conference “CVT in automotive applications”, 10-11 October,2017 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The event brings together an international panel of experts, leading representatives of EOMs and supplier companies to share specialist skills and discuss current technical developments that can improve opportunities of the CVTs compared to other automotive transmission technologies.
Varibox will be showcasing a new CVT (continuously variable transmission) innovation, the RADIALcvt, whose design is based on a functioning principle that has a single friction drive interface and features at least 6 power split friction drive parallel paths. The technology is applicable in hybrid as well as electric vehicles, and can be modified into an E2 transmission.
